First observed in 1954, National Nurses Week recognizes and honors the invaluable contributions of nurses to healthcare and society. National Nurses Week is celebrated from May 6th, which marks National Nurses Day, through May 12th, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, famously known as the “Founder of Modern Nursing.” The week is all about showing some love and appreciation for our hardworking nurses who significantly impact healthcare and society. It’s a chance to give them a pat on the back and let them know we see and appreciate all their dedication, compassion, and hard work. Additionally, it’s an excellent opportunity to teach people about nursing and inspire future nurses!
