Finding recruiters that fit
A frequent and, frankly, unnecessary roadblock of placements can be an incompatibility between traveler and recruiter. We’ve simplified the process with introducing our team by providing information travelers can use to distinguish their ideal coach, whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned pro. What are your hobbies? How do you like to work? Where do you want to go? What goals do you have? Our diverse and growing team of recruiters strives to find the right personality that aligns with the right schedule right away. A large part of becoming a traveling nurse is working solo in the field— but you are never alone with Blu Med. Within a few hours of applying, the recruiter of your choice will reach out to further the conversation. Each of our recruiters can staff in all 50 states, including hospitals, LTC/SNF, rehab, allied/imaging, and more.

Although Blu Med is all for giving everyone a chance, we also want to stress that we hold trust at a very high level when it comes to the facilities that we send our travelers to. We won’t send anyone anywhere that we wouldn’t place the care of our loved ones ourselves. Getting U into a fun workplace
While we’re here to grind, we also acknowledge that our travelers work in a taxing field, despite loving what they do. You need relief just as much as you need security. Travel nursing is, after all, a unique job because it combines a certain kind of restlessness, spontaneity, and autonomy in a vocation that doesn’t necessarily celebrate these attributes. We all chose this industry over the conventional option because we wanted more— and we wanted to do it on our terms. Money is great, and we love money, but time— yours and ours— is the real gold in the grand scheme of things. It’s nuts when you take a second to think about it.
So, if we’re all a little bit nuts, why not have fun? Blu Med plays as hard as we work because time enjoyed wasting while building connections is just as valuable— and a lot more memorable. One of the most prominent debates in our office: if you had to be trapped in a one-bedroom for 36 hours with a jaguar, a rhino, or a Komodo dragon, what would you choose? There is a correct answer, but we have yet to find it.
